NRA courses are all based upon the same principle: teaching the knowledge, skills, and attitude required to properly handle, store, protect, and operate firearms.

 

The fundamental NRA rules for safe gun handling that you will learn thoughout each course are:

 

1. ALWAYS keep the gun pointed in a safe direction.

2. ALWAYS keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot.

3. ALWAYS keep the gun unloaded until ready to use.

 

Also, free of charge for our customers is the Eddie Eagle Program for children K - 3rd Grade. The program teaches children these basic rules to follow if they see a gun:

 

1. Stop!

2. Do Not Touch!

3. Leave the Area!

4. Tell an Adult!
